Плагин Easy Updates Manager, он же stops-core-theme-and-plugin-updates. Был хорошим, вроде как и остался хорошим, но начал спамить рекламой.
Значит, нужно или удалить его, или вылечить.

Когда плагин спрашивает «а какогда там нужно показать следующий спам?», мы всегда отвечаем ему «ещё не время, давай лучше через часик». Естественно, через часик мы отвечаем ему то же самое, «ну я же сказал, давай через часик, чего непонятного-то?!»
Теперь плагин Easy Updates Manager опять ведёт себя хорошо, как и раньше, не спамит.
